“Social and Cultural Analysis” is one of the core courses within Category Four-- “Citizen, Society and the World” of the general education curriculum. Adopting a cross-cultural and comparative perspective, this course covers selected topics from preschool to higher education and certain specific contemporary educational issues. This course is intended to enhance an understanding of educational issues in cultural and social contexts and to cultivate capabilities of self-reflection on one’s own experiences and values.
